Camera Portraits explores what it looks like when a large format camera is working. When taking a photo, a beautiful upside down and reversed picture would be projected on the ground glass of the camera.

Photographer Portraits

Photographer Portraits presents portraits of photographers who have the experience working with large format camera. These photos are scanned from 4x5 film sheets. 

4x5 VS. full frame DSLR

This section shows the comparison  between large format camera(4x5) and DSLR(35mm). These photos are taken by Canon 5D3 and large format camera with lenses in similar focal length. Digital and film photos are both original file (digital photos are cropped to the same size and ratio of film photos and film photos are scanned as 4000dpi).

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT 

This community engagement is a workshop to demonstrate how to use a large format camera and let people actually shoot with one in peel apart film (instant film). It helps people understand how a large format camera works and have a good experience of working with it. Photos in this section are scanned from Polaroid transfer on the post card.
